Stop, wait a minute. Can you remember why you decided to write a dissertation? What your motives were? What did you feel? I am sure you were full of enthusiasm and strengths. You were convinced that all the difficulties can be solved.

You can start with writing some middle parts of the dissertation and finish with the introduction. You just have to write those parts that you can at this particular moment. If you have enough materials and ideas for the third chapter, write it. If you are inspired on writing a part of the conclusions, write it.
